Severe drought and low Basin water levels have motivated the Park Lessee's to make a real difference to the surrounding environment. Practical solutions for water conservation were needed and an extensive research project was initiated to source out and implement these solutions. The planned construction of the parks new Guest Amenities was an ideal platform for the Park Lessee's to extert their environmental credentials by making water conservation a requirement of the new building.

The Park's Lessee would like to acknowledge and thank both the Federal Government for its funding contribution under the Community Water Grants Program and the Victorian State Government for their funding assistance under The Crown Land Caravan Park Improvement Program.

The purpose of this web site is to keeo customers updated on the progress of the new Guest Amenities construction. We also intend on detailing some of the water saving devices that will be incorporated into the building. The goal of the new building will be for the park as a whole to save 1,000,000 litres of water per annum. To help everyone save water we have compiled a comprehensive water saving tips list that can be located on our water saving page.
