The Australian Government’s Community Water Grants are part of the $2 billion Australian Government Water Fund. It provides grants of up to $50,000 for community organisations to put in place practical on-the-ground solutions to either help save, reuse or improve the health of the local water sources.’

We applied in July 2007 for a Community Water Grant to assist in the construction of our new guest amenities. We were advised in late 2007 by our local member of Parliarment Dr Sharman Stone MP that our application had been successful for a Community Water Grant of $50,000. The Community Water Grant is a dollar for dollar grant meaning the park leasee also has to contribute $50,000 to the water saving initiatives that will be undertaken in the new building and around the park.

The park lessee welcomes the contribution from the Federal Governments Community Water Grant program. When asked what difference the Community Water Grant will make to the project Rosemary Tate said "the funding made available to us under the Commuinity Water Grant will allow us as a business to invest in water saving products that will improve our environment and ultimately improve the park for all our customers" Rosemary went on to explain that "its great news for the environment when business can work in partnership with the Federal Governemnt to produce real outcomes for our environment". To finally be in a position to commence construction of the new guest amenities is a great feeling. We also look toward to involving the park and general community in our project and raising awareness for the need for water conservation
